Security Personnel
We will deploy adequate numbers of well-trained security operatives to provide required security service throughout the event.
Event Venues and Hotels
The event venues are reputable venues with good security track record. All the venues earmarked to host the various programs have functional CCTV cameras, controlled access points, and trained security personnel. The FGC Enugu premises is the only event venue without functional CCTV cameras, but with sufficicnt numbers of security personnel.
We recommend that attendees use the official Reunion hotel (which is the Bon Sunshine Hotel) as much as possible. If there are no available rooms at the Bon Sunshine Hotel, we recommend the following hotels for attendees.

These event venues and hotels will be provided with top-class security presence throughout the duration of the reunion event. We however advise all attendees to secure their valuables and personal belongings at all times.
Access Control
We will implement controlled access points with trained security personnel at all event venues, as well as monitor these access points to prevent unauthorized entry. We therefore implore all attendees to adhere strictly to the advised guest lists, and always visibly wear the provided identification tags when within the event venues to aid prompt and effective unauthorized entry identification.
Baggage Screening
We will set up baggage screening points at the entrance of each event venue to check for prohibited items. Any identified potential security threats will be managed appropriately by the security personnel on ground.
First Aid and Medical Support
There will be properly manned first aid stations always available on-site. The medical and safety subcommittee has already secured the necessary equipment and access to emergency medical services to guarantee the safety and well-being of all attendees.
Crowd Management
All event venues have sufficient space for attendees to move around comfortably. However adequate plans are in place for proper crowd management to maintain order throughout the event.
Transportation Within Enugu Metropolis
We will provide top-notch security escort services for the following alumni transit requirements within the Enugu metropolis:
- Aiport shuttle services
- Trips from the designated hotels to the event venues and back
- Bus shuttle services between event venues
- Medical emergency service to and from designated specialist hospitals.
Emergency Planning
We have developed an emergency plan with local authorities and the management of our official event venues, inclusive of dedicated emergency exits, assembly points, and evacuation procedures.
Communication
We advise attendees to use the dedicated communication channels that will be advised at the reunion venue, inclusive of an official emergency contact for information and guidelines, and also to report any security concerns.
Note
Our security arrangements ONLY cover the reunion activities, so we advise that attendees stick to the stated reunion activities and always stay within the reunion event venue and approved reunion hotels.
We also advise Class Sets and Chapters who plan to carry out group activities during the reunion event to restrict these activities to the official event venues or within 500 meters of the official event venues.

When will ticket sales end?
Tickets will be sold right up to the start of the event. However, people who buy tickets very late may not get t-shirts in their event packs (or may end up with the wring size of t-shirts)
